This year iCRAG is teaming up with Inspirefest this summer to host ResearchFest. ResearchFest will showcase some of Ireland’s excellent frontier research, undertaken by PhD students from across STEM (science, technology, engineering and maths), humanities and social science.
Interested researchers must submit a three-minute video of themselves communicating their research in plain English. Be as creative in your delivery as you like, and research at the interface of STEM, humanities and social science is strongly encouraged.
The shortlisted group of researchers will receive expert communication training in advance from SNP Communications, and go on to present their research to an international audience at the Inspirefest Fringe on the evening of 30 June next. These researchers will also be in with a chance of winning exciting prizes on the night.
Closing date for entries is 12pm (IST) on 24 May. Finalists will be announced on 7 June.
