iCRAG is delighted to invite you to join us at iCRAG 2022 on December 1st in Croke Park, Dublin, our first major in-person meeting since the pandemic. iCRAG 2022 provides a unique opportunity to connect, explore and discover recent work by some of the 150 iCRAG researchers across 8 Irish research institutions, in collaboration with over 60 industry, academic and government partners.
The theme for this event, “Making a Difference”, encapsulates iCRAG’s commitment to creating solutions for a sustainable society. This one-day showcase will highlight the contributions iCRAG’s researchers are making to the economy, environment, and society in areas that include
- Protecting terrestrial, groundwater and marine environments
- Sustainable discovery of the raw materials required for the energy transition and development of new energy resources
- Understanding and informing society’s response to a changing climate and dynamic planet
iCRAG research in applied geosciences and understanding society’s connections with our planet is fundamental to addressing the urgent and intertwined energy and climate challenges. We are very excited to share the research being carried out across our three challenge areas: Earth System Change, Earth Resources, and Earth Science in Society, supported by Platform Technologies, and to introduce our 33 new PhD projects.
Details on the event will be added to the event website in the coming weeks.
