Prof. Sarah Davies

As a clastic sedimentologist, Sarah’s research seeks to understand the processes that controlled deposition and erosion in non-marine and shallow-marine settings, in particular focussing on fine-grained sedimentary successions, preserved in the geological record. Sarah’s teach undergraduate modules in sedimentology, sequence stratigraphy and geological field methods at second and third-year level, supervises Masters and PhD students and is Course Director for degrees in Geology at the University of Leicester.
