Mining a Sustainable Future
iCRAG is delighted to be exhibiting at the Royal Society Summer Science Exhibition. We will be working in partnership with the Natural History Museum, London to produce and exhibit entitled ‘Mining a Sustainable Future’. The exhibit will explore society’s dependence on mined minerals and metals and consider how much more we need to discover to secure a decarbonised and sustainable future. ‘Mining a Sustainable Future’ will feature a number of exciting interactive activities that will engage the public with the raw materials needed for renewable energy, electric cars and batteries. iCRAG intends to secure the legacy of this event by transforming the ‘Mining a Sustainable Future’ exhibit into a resource for secondary school students.
