Congratulations to Megan Dolan from iCRAG at NUIG who has been selected to travel to the European Young Geotechnical Engineers Conference (EYGEC) in Bodrum, Turkey in September 2019. The event is hosted by the International Society for Soil Mechanics & Geotechnical Engineering, and is an annual forum attended by c.50 European geotechnical engineers and researchers under the age of thirty-five. Each year the Geotechnical Society of Ireland select two geotechnical engineers through abstract submission and then shortlist a group to compete by presenting to a panel of judges at Engineers Ireland in Dublin. Megan successully navigated the selection process and we look forward to updates from Turkey in September.
