He has authored 51 ISI and other journal papers and chapters, plus scientific reports and oral/poster presentations.
His research initially focussed on the application of physics to quaternary geology and archaeology. which he built on this to develop research projects, service activity, and international collaborative activities across geoscience, radiation dosimetry, and cultural heritage. In public sector management he developed infrastructure projects and a research call to build national capability and research activity on environmental radioactivity. At iCRAG he aims to help develop solutions with PhD and post-doctoral researchers for improved data analytics and machine learning across a range of projects, based on his experience analysing and managing data, building and upgrading systems, and modernising workflows.
